Visa information for travellers to Russia
It is not true that getting a visa to Russia is an awkward matter, at least for western citizens. It is true,
though, that you must have a couple of documents.
This example is based on our experiences in Switzerland, but it is applicable to all the Western countries.

You need a "visa support", which is a confirmation from a tourist agency, hotel, school showing that you have booked a hotel and payed for it. A certain number of hotels offer this kind of support, others don't. Here are organisations that can assist you.
- In Moscow, Moscow hotels
- In Ekaterinburg, (Yekaterinburg) Ural travel agency
- In S. Petersburg Ninatour. The pretty Nina will very friendly help you get the visa ready and find a good accomodation.
